How the comparison works

  1. 01

    We read your profile

Your categories, rating, reviews, photos, hours and website come from your Google profile, and your main category becomes the search unless you type your own.

  2. 02

    We search like a customer

We run that search on Google Maps around your business and take the three places that come out on top, the ones that get most of the calls.

  3. 03

    We line you up

Each field sits side by side. Where you are behind all three, the cell turns red, and the result picks the fixes that close the biggest gaps first.

What to fix first

  1. Make “Dentist” your main category: the businesses above you use it.
  2. Add the categories they list and you do not: Cosmetic dentist and Emergency dental service.
  3. You have 103 fewer reviews than the top three. Every happy customer who writes one narrows that.

What decides who shows up first

Google says it ranks local results on relevance, distance and prominence. Distance you cannot change. Relevance is mostly your categories and how fully the profile describes what you do. Prominence is reviews, rating, photos and how much the web talks about you.

That is why the table holds these fields and nothing else. A clinic ahead of you is rarely better at dentistry; it is usually better described, with more reviews and a fuller profile.

Some gaps close in an afternoon, like a missing category or hours. Others, like reviews, close over months. Start with the quick ones and keep at the slow ones.

Questions owners ask

  • Why does a competitor with worse service rank higher?

Google cannot see the quality of the work. It sees the profile: categories, reviews, photos, hours. A competitor who keeps those complete and current usually shows above one who does better work and a thinner profile.

  • Which search should I compare on?

The one your customers type most. If you leave it empty we use your main category, which is a good start. Try your most profitable service next.

  • Why does it say “not shown” in a cell?

Google did not give that detail for that business. It is not a zero, so it is never counted against anyone.

  • Is the place in the results the same everywhere in my city?

No. Results change with where the person searching stands. This check reads one search around your business; the full Rank On Maps AI check measures it at 25 points around you.

  • How often can I run it?

Up to 3 comparisons a day from one connection. Each result stays at its own link for 30 days.
